Morten Vilhelm (b. 1981) is a Danish cinematographer specializing in fiction, documentary, and commercial work. He studied Film and Media at the University of Copenhagen and earned a Master’s degree in Cinematography from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) in 2017.

During his studies, Morten attended several masterclasses with notable filmmakers, including Claire Denis, Michael Haneke, Christopher Doyle, and Hou Hsiao-hsien. At FAMU, his mentors were Klaus Fuxjäger, known for his work as a camera operator on Hollywood blockbusters such as Van Helsing, A Knight’s Tale, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Vladimír Smutný, an eight-time winner of the Czech Lion Award for Best Cinematography.

He is fluent in Danish and English.
